In addition to education and research, the development of a regional innovation system is the third important pillar of Hasselt University. Our university makes an important contribution to innovation in Limburg by collaborating with companies and thus making maximum use of the available knowledge for the economic development of the region. On the one hand, the Tech Transfer Office aims to encourage and guide researchers to make the step into the business world, and on the other hand, to show entrepreneurs the way to knowledge institutions.
