Muslim Coogs Alumni Network

The Muslim Coogs Alumni Network (MCAN) is a Houston-based nonprofit committed to empowering Muslim student life at the University of Houston through long-term financial sustainability, community-driven leadership, and alumni engagement. We manage a $1 million student housing endowment to ensure safe, affordable housing options for students and directly fund core campus programs through strategic fundraising and donor partnerships. Our work bridges the gap between generations — connecting alumni, professionals, and donors with the next wave of student leaders at UH. MCAN is founded on the belief that impactful student life deserves sustainable support. Through strategic giving, community involvement, and mentorship, we’re building a legacy for students — one that grows stronger year after year.
