The System Dynamics Group at the University of Bergen is an autonomous research group specialising in system dynamics modelling. We are housed under the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Social Sciences. We offer the largest two-year interdisciplinary system dynamics master's programme in the world, taught in English.
System dynamics is a computer-based mathematical modelling approach for strategy development and better decision making in complex systems. This approach uses computer-aided simulation methodology based on feedback systems theory which complements the other Systems Thinking approaches.
