Uudenmaan Insinööriopiskelijat UIO ry on opiskelijayhdistys, jonka tarkoituksena on toimia opiskelijoiden ammatillisena etujärjestönä tekniikan ja liikenteen alalla Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulussa.
Keskeisiä toiminnan alueita ovat insinöörikoulutuksen ja insinööriopiskelijakulttuurin kehittäminen sekä insinööriopiskelijoiden ammatillinen edunvalvonta yhdessä Insinööriliiton, Insinööriopiskelijaliiton sekä Helsingin Insinöörien kanssa.
Työelämään liittyen järjestämme after work-tilaisuuksia ja excursioita yhdessä yritysten kanssa.

Uudenmaan Insinööriopiskelijat UIO ry is a student association for engineering students of Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Our goal is to supervise the rights of engineering students in Metropolia.
Central areas of action are developing engineering education, culture and the promotion of the interests of our members together with Insinööriliitto, Insinööriopiskelijaliitto and Helsingin Insinöörit.
We organize a variety of events from after works to excursions in co-operation with different companys.
