KORAK is a local organization based in rural Croatia, committed to building thriving, resilient communities through regenerative practices, nature-based solutions (NBS), and participatory placemaking. We work where others often don’t, in the overlooked villages and small towns, co-creating opportunities for dignity, sustainability, and inclusive growth. We connect local wisdom with global knowledge, empowering citizens, youth, marginalized groups, and long-term unemployed to become active changemakers in their own communities. Our projects blend ecological restoration, cultural preservation, and social innovation - always rooted in place, always rooted in people. We are currently seeking: -Strategic funding partners aligned with regenerative development, rural revitalization, and climate justice; -Philanthropic donations to scale our impact and support grassroots-led innovation; -Collaborations with EU consortia, foundations, social enterprises, and researchers.
