uLead!

uLead! is an idea of like-minded professionals who want to infuse young generations to be best innovators and scientists. The overall purpose of uLead! would be to better prepare disadvantaged and innovative youths from rural Sri Lanka for building their capacity to be innovators and leaders in a growing market economy. To meet this goal, uLead! will work independently and also with the private sector, government institution, vocational training centers, international experts and organizations, donor agencies to blend together policies, skills, and resources for new opportunities and support for in or out of school children and out of work young people between 15 to 35 years of age. The company will focus on innovation readiness, enhancing youth innovation, empowerment, entrepreneurship training and enterprise support coupled with an internship program and sponsorship programs. In addition, uLead! is planning to tap additional resources leveraged from the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs of the Sri Lankan private sector, philanthropists, and international finance support programs. The project would support Sri Lankan youths while simultaneously engaging with Sri Lankan and international experts in the development of a trained, prepared and innovative society.
