With George airport a mere 13 km away, our team will welcome your group at the airport and transfer them to one of the many luxury facilities in the area. George Airport was announced as “2018 Best Airport by Region” in the Africa category for airports with under two million passengers. Ulla’s can tailor-make wellness retreats or leadership-programmes that suits the need of the specific group. Or we can combine the two. Leadership sessions managed by accredited facilitators and wellness sessions scheduled between formal sessions e.g. yoga on the beach, stress-release sessions with professionals, guided-hiking trips, etc. If your group is rather seeking light entertainment, Ulla’s can put together a fun-filled package, e.g. wine-tasting, spa sessions, a visit to the elephant sanctuary, etc. Event Management: We specialize in venue sourcing, catering, décor and the overall planning of events. Our events company can also assist with protocol-guidelines. We can help you organise your special events e.g. launches; board meetings; marketing events; fundraisers; corporate planning sessions and team-building events. About the owner & company: Ulla Event Management was founded by Ingrid Waldeck in 2018. Ingrid worked as an Events Manager at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) for almost 24 years before deciding to venture out on her own. In 2013, Ingrid was privileged to have worked with a select UJ team, on a visit by the then USA President Barack Obama. For this specific event, Ingrid, along with her team, received the Vice-Chancellor’s Distinguished Award for Service Beyond the normal call of duty. She attended high-level Protocol-training, has great passion for people, obtained a certificate in Counselling and did a short course in Coaching & Mentoring.
