Ulmex specialises in the supply of technology, technical components, consumables and services for flexo and gravure printing. More than 25 years' experience in printing processes, combined with the expertise of Ulmex engineers and laser technology advisors, led in early 2018 to the birth of the Evolux project, the innovative anilox laser cleaning concept designed to be integrated into printing processes. Engineered by Ulmex's R&D department, with proprietary technology and process management. Today, the Evolux range of laser machines includes several models that differ in power, speed and size to meet the needs of different types of users, from small printers to large converters. All Evolux systems are equipped with exclusive cleaning programmes developed in close collaboration with business and technology partner Zecher, world leader in the production of ceramic and chrome anilox. In addition to the production of machines, Ulmex also provides anilox laser cleaning services at the customer's doorstep. This service is carried out 24/7 with a fleet of Service-Trucks equipped with Evolux proprietary, laser technology operating throughout Europe. Ulmex also offers innovative technical storage solutions for anilox, sleeves, adapters, cliché plates, film and paper reels, all designed and manufactured on-demand to suit the individual customer's production area. The range includes static warehouses, trolleys, as well as vertical and horizontal automated warehouses. A further sector in which Ulmex has been operating for years, is the production of a wide range of end seals for flexo doctor blade chambers, characterised by specific treatments and finishes. With a cutting-edge technology production department, these products are produced in-house with just-in-time delivery, to the great satisfaction of customers.
