Ultra Backpacking is dedicated to teaching others the best of what we can learn from the outdoors. We have a heavy focus on the ideas of backpacking and connecting people with inspiring projects. The natural world is a phenomenal teacher to those who listen. By seeking out inspired people pursuing backpacking dreams, we are able to learn a great deal from existing wild knowledge. At Ultra Backpacking, we want to deliver customers to vast knowledge pertaining to trail life. We want to connect you to conservation organizations, cottage gear companies, wilderness schools, and countless sources for self directed learning. This is contrary to many other backpacking sites, which are focused irrevocably on connecting people with expensive gear. We believe far too many suffer from adventure deficit disorder. Unloading $1000's of your hard earned dollars on adventure gear wont cure you. Unloading more $1000's on guided expeditions wont either. Adventure must be discovered, and we can show you how.
