Attached to the Africa Business School (ABS), the Chair of Complexities ∞ Humanities is tasked with reinforcing the ties with other UM6P Schools and Departments by facilitating:
• teachings on complexity sciences delivered within ABS and UM6P and their articulation with human and managerial sciences
• their dissemination through cultural and scientific events as well as publications and multimedia productions
• their “insemination” through workshops, case studies, and field surveys
The Chair’s various activities will focus on:
• deepening the specifically human and social dimensions of complexity
• the contribution of the Chair’s themes to the managerial approach of organizations
• the spirit of creativity and innovation through a circulation of ideas and concrete initiatives all oriented towards the ‘learning by doing’ approach.
• the emulation or implementation of multidisciplinary approaches, transversality, and critical thinking
The objective of the Chair of Complexities ∞ Humanities is to support actors within UM6P in their processes of transformation and learning. By providing young managers, engineers, scientific researchers, and students – who are well-trained in cutting-edge fields – with a mastery of transdisciplinary tools, the ambition is to reinforce their self-reliance and empower them with a humanist and civic culture.
