University of Malaya Accounting Club (UMAC) was first established on 17 September 1969 and registered under Student Affairs on 10 June 1975. Vision UMAC aims to achieve recognition, both locally and internationally, on its ability to produce innovative, resourceful and highly competent accountants who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the passion to excel and succeed in their careers. Mission 1. To provide opportunities for Members to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience as well as shaping them into good character with positive attitude and thus increasing their competitive advantage and employability 2. To build and maintain good, sustainable and valuable long-term relationship with corporate partners, faculty, affiliates and any other party that UMAC deals with. 3. To serve as a platform for Members to foster relationship with each other and cultivate the group learning culture and teamwork among Members. 4. To serve in the best interests of and provide benefits and opportunities for Members. 5. To be the premier student organization both recognised locally and internationally.
