Umbrella Legal is an Indian law firm founded by Kalpana Garg, in the year 2022, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur (Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law). Prior to establishing her law firm, Kalpana has worked with Legal and IP departments of biggest public listed companies in India for almost a decade and brings illustrious experience of a corporate counsel with working understanding of business. In addition, she is a patent agent having extensive experience of Drafting and Prosecution of Patents, Industrial Designs, Copyright and Trademarks with Indian and Foreign Intellectual Property Offices. She has also been involved in advising Startups, Production Houses, Actors, Entrepreneurs and Businesses on various legal issues which has contributed to strengthening her overall legal and IP expertise.
