UME was founded in 2020 by Jenn Toyzer who left a decade-long career in finance. One night Jenn discovered a plum spirit that was so delicious she felt she had been struck by lightning. Envisioning a product that is an experience in and of itself, Jenn sought to create a next generation spirit for the modern consumer: Delicious, Simple, Beautiful and Lower in Sugar and ABV.
