Text Surfing in Life Science is a PhD project started at UMG of Catanzaro and then continued in Germany, supported by DAAD fellowship.
Our aim is to develop new solutions for evaluating research outputs and expediting the peer review process in a reliable and scalable manner. We addressed the issue by introducing new evaluation metrics, using automatic keyphrase extraction in text processing operation. Good key phrases are useful for various applications, such as information retrieval, document categorization and even for ”document evaluation” purposes.
For our upcoming scientific publication we are conducting a survey to determine the Life Science scientific articles that you scientists perceive as most comprehensive regarding the research study, methods and achieved endpoints or findings.
