Michigan Ross' Center for Venture Capital & Private Equity Finance hosts three annual major symposia spanning private equity and venture capital. Launched in 1980, the May Midwest Growth Capital Symposium is the premier Midwest venture event that annually attracts top VCs, entrepreneurs and tech transfer officials from across the U.S. The Fall Women Who Fund Forum engages women in alternative investments from across the Midwest. The forum leads into the opening night of the Michigan Private Equity Conference, which brings together U-M alumni and other professionals in private equity, investment banking and related businesses from around the United States.
