If there are University of Manitoba International students who have revived the community and would like access to this page, feel free to reach out! *** The International Students’ Organization (ISO) was created by the then International Students’ Representative, in 2018 and launched as the student club UMISO in 2019. Between 2019 and 2022, the University of Manitoba International Students’ Organization provided international students at the University of Manitoba with resources as well as opportunities for connection. Our mission is to effectively support international students, through the provision of information, access to external or internal resources and other services. UMISO supported, motivated, and assisted International students during their journeys through the University of Manitoba. We encouraged students to embrace and share their cultures, as well as learn from others. Being part of UMISO enabled students to meet many people from all around the globe and experience new traditions, events and even food while building a diverse network and support system.
