UmiVerse was founded by Nawal Benzaouia and Keyu Wang with a shared vision to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where children can grow through learning and creativity. Inspired by the Arabic word “أمي” Umi,” meaning mum, UmiVerse blends the care of a mother with the boundless potential of a universe filled with knowledge. UmiVerse offers bilingual resources, activities, and stories that foster early literacy, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. By working with families, schools, and organizations, Nawal and Keyu aim to empower children to discover their potential through stories, crafts, and interactive learning experiences. To inspire a lifelong love of learning and creativity in every child, fostering inclusivity, cross-cultural understanding, and emotional growth.
