UMKC Social Work

The MSW program at UMKC is an advanced generalist curriculum based on core professional competencies, including social work practice theory and intervention, diversity and human rights, organizations and leadership, community-building and social action, research and evaluation and professional development. Students can complete a 2 or 3 year plan to graduate with an MSW, or, if coming in with a BSW, complete your MSW in only 1 year.
