University of Melbourne Music Theatre Association (UMMTA)

UMMTA, the University of Melbourne Music Theatre Association, is a student-run musical theatre company in Melbourne, Australia, producing two full-scale musical productions each year. Established in the second half of 2002, UMMTA aims to provide all members of the Melbourne University community with the opportunity to participate in and appreciate all forms of music theatre. We are completely student run, and by putting on two shows a year we offer students not only a chance to perform on stage, but also the opportunity to be involved on the production side of things, from directing and producing to sound and light technicians. We attract students from a diverse range of faculties and universities, as long as they can act and sing, or rig a light, we don't mind!
