Founded in 2004, UMP Consultancy & Training Sdn. Bhd. is a subsidiary of UMP Holdings Sdn. Bhd. In line with government’s aspiration to create competent UMP’s lectures and researchers to involve with industries, this company was established to provide the bridge for academic staff to engage in industrial and professional practices focusing on four areas; consultancies, technical services, training and ICT services. Our core expertise is engineering and technology, but we also provide niche services in social-science fields including languages and human resource development. Consultancy We have experience in dealing with case studies from industries, especially in Mechanical & Automotive Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering as well as Industrial & Factory Management. Senior UMP lecturers and researchers are our pool of experts ready to dedicate and serve the industries to achieve their respective goals. Technical Services We provide laboratory tests and experimental work for our clients whether it is an engineering test or environmental assessment, we have high capabilities to conduct the technical services to our clients’ required standards and specifications. Trainings UCT will design and prepare classroom and lab sessions on any required course for industrial workers and students. Our faculties and centres of excellence have experience in designing a variety of modules for formal learning and self-development activities including our expertise consist of UMP lecturer and outside trainer.
