L’objectif principal de notre unité de recherche est de faire progresser les connaissances sur les plaquettes sanguines et sur son précurseur, le mégacaryocyte. Nous nous intéressons à tous les aspects de la biologie de la plaquette en combinant une recherche fondamentale avec une recherche appliquée. Nos collaborations étroites avec les services cliniques des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg placent nos projets dans un contexte médical et de santé publique. D’autre part, nos liens sont forts avec les différents services de l’EFS et sont au cœur des problématiques de la transfusion sanguine.
