The Centre for Mexican Studies in the United Kingdom is an academic outpost of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), hosted by King’s College London.
It was created in March 2015, in the UKMX2015 dual year with the idea to promote academic and cultural exchange between UNAM and British higher education institutions. Besides UNAM-UK, there are more similar centres around the world.
UNAM has a well-established internationalization policy, which dates back to 1921.
