The Research Center for Blockchain and Related Technologies has the following general objectives: 1. To advance scientific knowledge about blockchain and related technologies, promoting interdisciplinary research that addresses theoretical and applied aspects of the technology; 2. To develop innovative technological solutions, aiming to positively impact strategic sectors, such as the economy, health, education, governance and sustainability; 3. To train professionals and researchers, forming a generation of specialists prepared to lead blockchain-based initiatives; 4. To foster national and international partnerships, connecting academia, the productive sector and public institutions for the transfer of knowledge and innovation.
