UNCC Network

UNCC Network began as a response to the shutdown of the campus app “Patio” and has since grown into the largest student-led community at UNC Charlotte. What started as a single GroupMe chat has evolved into a dynamic network with specialized channels focused on housing, job opportunities, parties, networking, and more. As an unofficial, school email-required group, UNCC Network ensures that only current students and alumni are part of the community, fostering trust and security. This email verification is a key element of the group’s credibility and helps maintain a professional and engaged environment. The network includes a variety of channels, such as: -Networking & Career: Job postings, and socials. -Buy/Sell/Trade: Items like textbooks and furniture. -Housing & Rooming: Find roommates and housing. -Parties & Nightlife: Share local events and guest lists. -UREC & Fitness: Workout tips and fitness events. -Food & Deals: Local food spots and discounts. -Art & Music: Share artwork, music, and events. -Greek Life & Frats: Greek life events and discussions. -Charlotte Sports & Tailgating: Connect over sports and tailgates. -Politics: Discuss political events and campus issues. -Photography & Videography: Share photos, videos, and media content. -Beeping: Students driving other students and splitting costs. -Cars & Car Meets: Talk cars, car culture, and meetups. -Betting & Gambling: Primarily sports betting and stocks, and local games.
