Global Business Brigades is an international movement of university students and professionals building economic opportunities in the developing world. The purpose of our organization is to build up rural economies across the globe by strengthening community-owned banks, teaching financial literacy, and fostering a culture of savings, while ensuring access to capital for low-interest loans. Our goal is to ensure access to capital for new businesses, access to higher education, and other community projects and ultimately promote sustainability which is the mission of Global Brigades, Inc. Currently we serve as the largest student-led movement for economic development in the world, and the numbers continue to grow.
