UBC has been raising funds for children's health in Victoria since 1942.
UBC is a state wide organisation with branches and groups located in Bellarine, Bendigo, Bunyip, Jarklin, St Arnaud, Craigieburn, Drouin, Epping, Kyabram and District, Nathalia, Neerim, Peninsula, Sunbury, Tyers, West Gippsland and Wonthaggi.
Over the years, the Club has raised money in many ways, some of which may seem strange.
Golf days, bowls days, chook raffles, hotel jars, bingo, quiz nights, raft races, the annual raffles of Easter eggs and Christmas hampers, grand prix, carnivals and the list goes on.
Our main focus is THE GOOD FRIDAY APPEAL in which we raised an amazing $200,083.00 in 2025, putting our overall total donated to the The Royal Children's Hospital just over $19 million.
But that is not all we do!
UBC has provided funding to RCH Neuroscience Fellowship, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, UBC Child Development Centre, West Gippsland Hospital, South West Health Care, East Wimmera Health Services, Bendigo Health, Plenty Valley Community Health, Boort District Hospital, Cystic Fibrosis Victoria and many more.
