UNCW English Studies

All 21st century problems require an understanding of how language, culture, and technology intersect in authentically human ways. Our department allows students to explore how to innovate in all these areas: Business & Technical Writing, Literature & Cultural Studies, Journalism, Linguistics, Science & Medical Writing. We also connect businesses and non-profits to the classroom, so that students can get real world experience and employers can discover the next generation of talent.
