Under Construction

The construction industry is one of the most destructive, responsible for 40% of global carbon dioxide emissions. Business as usual (BAU) exacerbates these issues, especially during crises—whether it's rebuilding after a conflict or addressing the urgent housing demands in urban areas. We believe the root problem is not a lack of resources but a lack of imagination and inspiration. This is where the [Program Name] accelerator comes in. Our mission is to foster and spread innovative ideas that prove change is not only possible but already within our reach. The Accelerator "Under Construction" is a project of Liebling Haus LAB, which is carried out in cooperation with Desertech Climate Innovation Center, Reality Proptech and the Bundesstiftung Bauakademie (Federal Bauakademie Foundation) and the Founder Institute. Many thanks to the support of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction, the Tel Aviv Yafo Foundation and the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Yafo. By uniting the best of German and Israeli ConTech, PropTech, and ClimateTech innovations, we aim to develop impactful pilot projects that address these challenges head-on.
