The Under2 Coalition is the largest global network of states and regions committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050 at the latest and ensuring a greener planet for all.
The Coalition represents close to 200 individual states, regions, provinces and subnational governments - a total of more than 270 actors, accounting for more than 50% of global GDP.
The current co-chairs of Under2 are Chungcheongnam-do (Chungnam), Querétaro, Scotland and Western Cape. Our work is made possible by a number of strategic partners that believe in and support the power of states and regions to tackle the climate crisis.
Climate Group acts as the Under2 Coalition’s secretariat, supporting and accelerating collective climate ambition.
