UNDRR ARISE

ARISE is short for the UNDRR Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies. We are a group of leading private sector companies and organizations who have partnered with the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) to drive toward the goals set out in the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, a wide-ranging, 15-year agreement adopted by the international community in 2015. We aim to create risk-resilient societies by energizing the private sector in collaboration with the public sector and other stakeholders to achieve the aims for the Sendai Framework in a transparent and inclusive way that delivers local and measurable impact.
