UNIAPAC is the International Christian Union of Business Leaders, founded in 1931 in Europe. UNIAPAC Latin America is headquartered in Montevideo, Uruguay. The objective is to serve as a link between Christian Associations of Business Leaders in the Latin American Region, promote the creation of new associations, facilitate the exchange of experiences and common lines of action; To motivate the study, dissemination and implementation of the Church's Social Doctrine in the economic and social activity of our Region. Inspired by Christian social thought, its objective is to promote among business leaders the vision and application of an economy that serves the human person and is the common cause of humanity in general. UNIAPAC defends a free economy based on disrespect for people's dignity and on the lack of a sense of the Common Good.
