Unicamp Compósitos is a team dedicated to the design, simulation, manufacturing and testing of high-performance composite structures and materials. It emerged in 2015 from a branch of Unicamp's FSAE team and has participated in the SAMPE Academic Challenge annually, in which it achieved 1st place in the carbon fiber square section category in 2018 and 2nd in the natural fiber square section category in 2019. Currently, Unicamp Compósitos is formed by students from the Mechanical, Chemical and Electrical Engineering courses. In addition, some of the group's main objectives are the professional training of its members and enabling the democratization of knowledge to other academic institutions.
