Through our flagship Net Zero Partnership for Industrial Decarbonization, we support countries with sector-specific decarbonization roadmaps, delivering policy support, and engaging stakeholders in targeted technical assistance programs.
As the coordinator of the Industrial Deep Decarbonization Initiative (IDDI) and Steel Breakthrough, UNIDO brings governments, industries, and experts together to establish low-carbon standards for steel and cement, also to drive public procurement commitments, and align global industrial decarbonization efforts.
Our global energy districts programme supports countries in promoting and implementing energy district projects to meet national goals on energy efficiency, climate change mitigation, and sustainable urban and industrial development.
