UNIFOAM brand of polyurethane products were registered in 1981 and started commercially in 1982. The first factory, UNITED FOAM PRODUCTS NIGERIA LIMITED started in Ilorin, Kwara State in Nigeria in 1982. Later another two factories started in Kano and Kaduna in 1985 and 1987 respectively. The factory in Kano is JAFA FOAM PRODUCTS NIGERIA LIMITED and Kaduna is JAFCO INDUSTRIES NIGERIA LIMITED.
