The Union Cup is an International Gay Rugby (IGR) sanctioned, European, LGBTQ+ based rugby tournament for LGBTQ+ and inclusive rugby clubs from across Europe.
The tournament promotes participation in sport by LGBTQ+ people and the challenges of LGBTQ+phobic prejudice.
The tournament will take place in Birmingham between 27 and 30 April 2023 and is hosted by the Birmingham Bulls RFC (https://birminghambullsrfc.com/).
Key to the success of the Union Cup will be support from the local community and a team of volunteers in the run up to and over the course of the tournament itself.
