Union Trading is a company specialized in coffee trading and exports, with headquarters in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Union belongs to Icona Café group, established in Madrid, Spain in 1954 and since 1996 has been dedicated to the international coffee trade. (www.iconacafe.com) With representation offices in important markets like Vietnam and Uganda, Icona started doing business in Brazil in 2005 to expand its coffee acquisitions from the country. With an office in Santos, the company created solid bases that allowed it to found Union Trading in 2010 as a means to continue developing the representation business as well as being an independent coffee exporter. Union Trading is composed by a team of specialists in coffee trading, quality control and exports. Apart from the main office in São Paulo, Union has buying units in Espírito Santo do Pinhal and Varginha and representation offices in Franca, Londrina, Manhuaçu and Campos Altos, being present in the main coffee producing regions of Brazil. The Icona Café group, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, has a strong presence in five countries, among them Brazil, the largest coffee producer and exporter, Vietnam and Uganda. The organization also has an office in Uruguay dedicated in logistics.
