UNIPRO Research Unit

UNIPRO is a research unit of IUCS directed to the research in the fields of Oral Pathology and Oral Rehabilitation making a translational link between the scientific research to advanced education and training, to scientific community and Society. The mission of this research unit is to address questions relevant to some of the principal oral human diseases (including oral tumour development and progression, periodontal and craniofacial diseases and oral rehabilitation), while developing and optimizing analytical/clinical methods and treatments with impact in Oral Health and environment. The unit team is multidisciplinary and includes researchers covering essential disciplines of life and health sciences such as molecular biology, chemistry, microbiology, biopathology, medicine, dentistry, psychology, computer science, and statistics, all working together in the fled of Oral Pathology and Oral Rehabilitation.
