UniRide

UniRide combines the beauty of social media with the simplicity of Uber. An all in one app that allows students to seamlessly find, create and manage their carpools. Our philosophy is to turn the boring commute into something fun and sociable. Through utilising Facebook and university integration we help pair students with other like-minded students, forming a group of friends that grow closer with each additional ride they share. This idea originally began as a submission for the Imagine Cup Competition but now we are only a few steps away from turning it into a reality. We will be attending the world finals in July and plan to launch official beta testing at the beginning of semester two.
