The focus of our NGO is to simply unite people to help where it is most needed.
Our first project, United for Ukraine, is a platform uniting 10 NGOs and creating a network of humanitarian organizations helping Ukraine. The project is supporting organizations with back office, negotiations with authorities, and financial support. We work under the auspices of the Slovak Embassy in Ukraine.
Our second project, United for Iraq takes part in the Iraqi Kurdistan. Together with the Shingala Azad organization and Caritas Slovakia, we organize English summer camps for the Ethno-religious minority group of Yazidis, who live in Iraqi Kurdistan. Students from the local as well as the IDP community who fled ISIS during the Yazidi genocide in the Shingal region in 2014 took part in the classes. In the classes, students not only learn English, but they discuss topics such as media literacy, climate change, or geography.
Our third project, United for Armenia, focuses on providing humanitarian aid to refugees fleeing the Nagorno-Karabakh region (aka Artsakh) during the full-scale invasion in 2023. We’ve responded to a request by a young journalist, Nazenik and we currently focus on raising money to support the large, multi-generational families who fled the region.
