United For Human Dignity's (UFHD) mission is to give survivors of sex trafficking the resources they need to complete their education and create new opportunities for their future.
Survivors face countless challenges when trying to reenter society and obtain sustainable employment. Lack of education, insufficient resources, and for some, an undeserving criminal record are obstacles that are difficult to overcome. They can lead to feelings of despair and low self-worth.
United For Human Dignity believes that everyone deserves to have a chance to improve their quality of life. We help survivors identify their interests and talents, explore career options, and help them achieve their goals. Whatever their career path, we are dedicated to helping them receive the education and training they need to become tomorrow’s educators, entrepreneurs, advocates, and leaders in their communities.
For survivors who would like to pursue a college degree or vocational training, UFHD will provide career coaching and help connect them with resources and programs that assist with tuition and basic living needs. For ongoing support, survivors will also have available to them mentors, study groups, support groups, interview preparation, and financial management classes.
