United Texmac Pte Ltd, also known as Unitex, is a company that specializes in the manufacturing of premium circular knitting machines. Established in Singapore in 1996, we began our journey through a technology transfer and investment partnership with the ITOCHU Group of Japan. Many of our engineers and technicians have been actively engaged in the manufacturing and development of circular knitting machines since the 1980s.
Following our acquisition of the Wild Horse Knitting Machine Group in China—one of Asia’s largest knitting machine manufacturers—our annual production capacity has reached 2,000 machines. Our fully integrated manufacturing operations now span three major regions: the Iskandar Development Zone in Johor, Malaysia; Fujian, China; and a machine assembly and R&D center in Shanghai. The Shanghai facility focuses on continuous innovation and improvement to deliver added value to our customers.
