Our Story
Established in 1972, United Electronics delivers a wide range of printing, imaging, and archiving, products and solutions for consumers, business enterprises, and government agencies. Our aim is to deliver the latest technologies of printing, imaging, and archiving to the Jordanian and regional markets.
United Electronic Company (as it was formerly named) was founded by Haj Sabri Al-Hakeem as a small family business company located in Prince Mohammed street in Jabal Amman selling office products such as copiers, calculators, typewriters, and duplicators of several brands, among them was Canon. In 1976 Canon Inc. Japan appointed UEC as the sole agent and representative for Canon copiers in Jordan after having witnessed a tremendous dedication and loyalty to Canon brand. UEC’s continuous development and focus on customer satisfaction and needs were exhibited and celebrated in 1998 when Canon Europe NV appointed UEC as the sole agent for all Canon products in Jordan, which has confirmed by Middle East FZ-LLC in 2000. UEC was ranked among the top five Canon dealers in the Middle East region in 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2009.
In 2007, United Electronic Company has widened its portfolio of brands and products to include the German ROWE Wide Format Laser Printers, and the German EBA Shredders. In 2012, UEC launched the professional print solutions product line from Canon serving the emerging and growing demand in digital production printing. In 2013, celebrating its history, United Electronic Company revived its corporate image through rebranding its identity and becoming ‘United Electronics’.
