Established in 2001, Unity Hospice Care has touched the lives of over 4,000 families in the Mid-South. With offices in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, Unity provides hospice and palliative care through physical, spiritual, and emotional support. Patricia Sherman, Founder and CEO of Unity Hospice Care, has dedicated her life to enabling patients to live full and comfortable lives as they enter their final transition.
Unity Hospice Care seeks to fulfill our spiritual commitment through engagement in the community as “members in one body…and individually as members of one another” (Romans 12:4-6).
Unity provides compassionate care through the collaborative efforts of our interdisciplinary team. Our “Bridge the Gap” program was established to meet the needs of patients who can benefit from hospice in the future. This program provides visits to patient’s homes by nursing staff to answer questions about their disease process, and to provide support during difficult times.
Unity Hospice Care’s foundation began with one patient in Batesville, Mississippi, who believed in the mission of Unity and their commitment to the surrounding community. Today with seven offices located in three states, Unity Hospice Care is continually delivering on its promise to provide incomparable, patient-centered, compassionate palliative care.
