Unity Printing Company, Inc. was founded in 1979 by James Ernette. Over the years, the acquisition of several small printing companies contributed to the company’s growth and established it as a leader in the market.
Today Unity Printing is under the direction of Ernette’s daughter, Lisa Frederick, and her husband, G. Joseph (Joe) Frederick. In 2014, the company achieved certification as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Entering its fourth decade as a full service printing company, Unity Printing is proud to welcome the family’s third generation to the business: Ashley Frederick, daughter of Lisa and Joe, recently completed her degree in Family Enterprise from Stetson University, and now works full-time for Unity Printing. Joe and Lisa also have a son, Cole.
Located just south of Latrobe along Route 981 in Westmoreland County, Pa., the company’s facilities are comprised of over 25,000 square feet of office, production, and warehouse space.
