Universal Navigation and Trading Pvt. Ltd is an International Sea transportation & Commodity Trading company based in Karachi Pakistan. It was incorporated in 1995 under the Companies Ordinance Act 1984 with a broad business mandate to serve numerous sectors namely Ship Operation, Ship Management & Commodity Trade. In 1999 The Ship Management & Operation function was rendered to a dedicated company formed solely for the purpose. We are closely affiliated with Universal Navigation Pte. Ltd Singapore and undertakes its regional business activities. Universal Navigation strives to search for quality goods and import them to the country to fill the country's demand and profitably export the surplus to the world where it is needed. The company currently primarily focuses on commodities in and out of Pakistan from South East Asia, Middle Eastern & Persia Gulf and African countries. Agricultural and industrial commodities are both actively traded. Grain Crops have emerged as a leading category in the Pakistan Markets following International trends with an increasing share of Import bill & Revenue of Pakistan along with Oil Seeds & Meals as Animal Feed ingredients. The agricultural commodities traded are namely Oil seeds (Canola, sunflower, soybean seeds, oil and meal), Sesame seeds, Rice, Sugar, Fertilizer, Pulses, Wheat, Corn, Jute, Cashew nuts, Peanuts (Including peanut oil and meal) With an always-evolving trading pattern, Universal Navigation continuously monitors the international scenario. It adopts the approach of buying on FOB where the prices favour and selling on C&F with minor variations by the buyer’s requirements.
