Universal Paints began as a family business, established in 1982 and acquired by Medu Capital in 2016. We have a rich heritage encompassing years of experience in manufacturing and distribution of consistent quality guaranteed products. Universal Paints is a locally produced premium paint brand and is exclusively available in our dedicated direct outlets. We manufacture quality guaranteed paint and coatings, developed by expert technical teams. Great focus is placed on quality of production and we offer specialised expert advice obtained through years of experience in the industry. We supply and service consumers who understand the value of quality, longevity and expert service while we focus on producing and selling quality in every colour produced. Our target market includes DIY, contractors and the commercial and residential specification markets. Our route to market is through our network of dedicated Universal Paints direct outlets. Owners and staff provide friendly and technical service and are fully trained to match any colour sample brought into our stores. Customers can choose from our selection of thousands of colour swatches available, and colours can be matched and mixed in-store.
