Established in 1999, Uniwise Offshore, a Joint Venture of the Unithai Group, a major Thai offshore, shipyard and logistics group, and Miclyn Express Offshore (MEO), an Singapore based leading provider of offshore service vessels covering South-East Asia, Australia and the Middle East, has grown to become Thailand’s leading indigenous offshore support vessel (OSV) company.
Uniwise Offshore owns and operates the largest crew boat fleet in the Gulf of Thailand and state of the art Marine Support Vessels, AHTS, and Utility vessels supporting:- Tanker Lifting, Static Tow duty; Drilling Rig Activities:- Anchor Handling, SPM Maintenance, Floating Hose Maintenance, Cargo Transportation, Stand-by, Fire-fighting, and Oil spill response. Supporting the Kingdom’s offshore Oil and Gas activities with transportation of crew changes and inter-field cargo operations. The company is growing its fleet of Drilling Rig Supporting: Anchor Handling Tug and Supply (AHTS) vessels.
A key focus of the management, staff and crews of the company is on operational excellence and the belief that all accidents are preventable. As such, the company has demonstrated the highest commitment and performance in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment and (HSQE), vessel uptime, and fuel efficiency metrics. This is led through regular management visits and audits with each vessel to discuss and embed themes of operational excellence.
To support the growing operations in the Gulf of Thailand, Cambodia, the Malaysia Thai Joint Development Area and Myanmar, Uniwise has invested in shore support bases in Sattahip and Songkhla, in addition to the Bangkok head office.
In addition to providing technical and commercial management for its own fleet, Uniwise Offshore provides technical management for a wide range of Offshore Supply Vessels and crew boats from MEO. In all, Uniwise Offshore provides technical management for over 40 vessels.
