At UnlockAbility, we provide tangible tools to reach desired goals. Sessions foster the necessary foundational skills to positively impact each individual’s life. These include integrating executive function skills, reading, writing, social communication, and social-emotional skills. Our approach to teaching is energizing and exciting. Students often leave sessions feeling increasingly confident, independent, and “seen.” While UnlockAbility recognizes that each individual has potential that needs to be released first, barriers must be acknowledged and broken. Every person has a unique story and has faced their own battles, both inside and outside the classroom. UnlockAbility helps enhance understanding of the material provided, improves language skills, and teaches how to break complicated tasks into manageable pieces. Foundational skills are addressed while increasing overall engagement. We elevate self-esteem, help people feel more understood, and increase awareness of how to confront adversity and win.
