We're a founding college of Nevada's land-grant university, University of Nevada, Reno. We're home to the Nevada Agricultural Experiment Station and University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.
Our professors and scientists in all of our departments and units focus our education and research on the region's most important issues from agriculture and ranching to community development and economics to human health and well-being to water and wildlife, and more!
We have four degree-granting departments in which students pursue their passion for learning: Agriculture, Veterinary & Rangeland Scienes; Biochemistry & Molecular Biology; Natural Resources & Environmental Science; and Nutrition. While at the University, our students enjoy the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge and life-changing research in our classrooms, laboratories and field stations.
But we're not just here to provide amazing experiential learning experiences to college students. We're here for Nevadans of all ages too. Our Cooperative Extension unit provides life-long learning opportunities to all Nevadans. Extension offers programs for K-12 students, professional programs and continuing adult education.
