Unveil delivers advanced visual representations of patient conditions, leading to improved recognition and diagnostic skills. Working in conjunction with a physical manikin or in "virtual only" mode, students can access augmented reality scenarios that rapidly sharpen patient assessment skills and practice real physical intervention skills. From traumatic brain injury and CBRNE events to anaphylaxis, bacterial infections and jaundice, our tools deliver lifelike cues based on real-world patients. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, Unveil was founded in 2016. The Company has been recognized as an early leader in the emergency medical response field. Unveil received a Phase I STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) contract award from the Defense Health Agency in 2017 and was subsequently awarded a Phase II contract in 2018 that is ongoing. Its Virtual Patient Immersive Trainer (VPIT) was given the Innovation award at the EMS World tradeshow in 2018 and the Company was also identified as a 50 on Fire Award winner for startups in the same year. Unveil has built a robust intellectual property pipeline and received its first patent in 2019. Unveil has an ongoing distribution partnership with North American Rescue and its award-winning TOMManikin. The VPIT instructor software module works on a tablet or pc and the student software is delivered through the recently available Microsoft Hololens 2.
